On the surface, it’s about this French blockhead who’s stuck in a loop of heteronormative misery until a kind English student with curls blows his poser existence to pieces. It’s about ditching toxic friendships and finding support in the strangest places — like your old neighbour’s living room. It’s about choosing to grow up and face the truth instead of hiding behind an ill-fitting persona. It’s about self-love, I guess.
